*Grabby Hands* Release & Review - Landing the Air Marshal by Jennifer Blackwood

Title:  Landing the Air Marshal
Author: Jennifer Blackwood
Publication Date: September 12th, 2016

Category/Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance

It was meant to be a one-night stand. One wicked night with an irresistibly sexy passenger. That’s all Air Marshal Gage Michaels can afford--his career comes before everything else. Too bad the snowpocalpyse of the century has different plans for him and Abby Winters. Before the night's over, they find themselves snowed in at the most luxurious hotel in the city.

Abby’s scouting job of a NYC penthouse should be quick, simple, and definitely shouldn’t include a sexy-as-hell man messing up the 3000 count sheets that will be featured in her company’s next blockbuster hit. Not when she’s up for a promotion that could skyrocket her entire career in the film industry. Still, she can't refuse what the weather gods so obviously want her to have. She'll give in, just this once.

Leaving is tougher than either of them could have imagined. But they’re two people who have nothing in common, living on opposite coasts. There’s no way they can ever be together. Right?

4 “Fear of flying + snow” Stars

Thank you, Entangled Brazen.

Okay, so this book was hot. I mean, it was snowing and these characters were stuck in New York City because of the storm, but everything from page was HOT.

Something else I also knew from page one? That I was going to really like this.

Abby has an amazing voice, the kind that makes you smile, then giggle, then laugh in a matter of a few paragraphs. I immediately connected with her and her fear of flying, because OMG HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT FREAK OUT WHEN THEY’RE ON A PLANE? I swear I don’t know. Abby’s reactions were hilarious.

Then enter Gage, super confident with flying since he’s an Air Marshal. He sits next to Abby and helps her through her fear in a… let’s say, unconventional way. Everything from that moment on gets a hundred degrees hotter because those two together could blow the airplane just with their chemistry. I mean, that under-the-blanket scene? I need a moment just thinking about it.

When the flight lands, Abby and Gage decide they need more of each other and spend the night together. Hot. Then the next day together because a snow storm cancels all their flights. Hotter.

Look, this is an Entangled Brazen book, which means you’ll get a lot of sex scenes. A lot. So if that bothers you, then maybe try something by other imprints, like Bliss or Indulgence. Brazen usually delivers what it promises, and “Landing the Marshal” excelled in that department.

Don’t get me wrong. The characters are likable and interesting, and they do interact in other ways that don’t involve sex, but their physical connection is a huge part of the story. And you won’t hear me complaining.

I really liked Abby. I loved her occupation and how she was a woman in charge of her career and had aspirations that didn’t involve a man and kids. Nothing wrong with wanting the white picket fence AT ALL, but it’s refreshing to see something different. I also loved how Gage was the one connected to his family, and not the other way around. It made him instantly likable. The scenes with his little niece were adorable.

I also loved how the author found a way to write a satisfying ending without ruining the characters and their careers. Great call!

If you're in the mood for a super sexy read with likable characters, you should definitely give this one a chance!
